FinPeak was built on a different idea — closer to the model of a family doctor than a medical centre. Your family doctor has known you for years. They remember what you were worried about last time. They know your history, your family, the context behind every decision. When something changes, they already understand what it means for you. That’s the kind of advisory relationship we’re trying to build. One adviser, who knows your situation properly, who you can call when something comes up, and who stays alongside you as your life changes — not just when you need a new product.

Michael Sik

Director & Financial Adviser, FinPeak Advisers I’ve been working in financial services for over 20 years — starting out at PricewaterhouseCoopers, spending four years at ING working with some of Australia’s largest financial planning networks, and then a further five years advising clients at Infocus Advisory before founding FinPeak in 2014. I studied Economics at UNSW and hold a Master’s degree in Applied Finance with a Financial Planning major. But the qualification that matters most in this work isn’t on paper — it’s the ability to listen carefully, ask the right questions, and give advice that actually fits someone’s life. I founded FinPeak because I wanted to do advice properly. Not volume-driven, not product-focused — just careful, considered, holistic advice for families and professionals who deserve better than being managed through a system. Outside of work, I played basketball my whole life until a torn achilles forced me to stop. I started running as a way to recover and rebuild — and ended up running a marathon. Now I’m setting my sights on completing an Ironman. It’s taught me something I try to bring into every client relationship: that the right plan, applied consistently over time, gets you further than you thought possible.
